Dr. Madsen shares some key findings from an extensive statewide study conducted by Utah Women & Education Project researchers. This research focused on understanding why many young women in Utah are not attending and completing college degrees and certificates. This presentation highlights many of the influences found to shape and impact decisions young female Utahans make about college attendance and graduation. It will highlight many of the critical findings of this research and will provide recommendations on what we can do to help move the needle for women in Utah. This information is powerful for anyone who influence girls and women within our state?and many of the findings relate to assisting boys and men as well.
